The better deals online were too much of a roll of the dice. I suspect I trust Amazon feedback way too much but I felt better buying here.The mattress itself feels like about all of the mattresses I tried out locally. Some of which cost 3 times what I paid for this one. I am a big guy so I needed firm and it appears to be firm enough. I have to say shipping was swift too. Just a few days. All praise and no complaints so far. Edit** 1-25-2010 After a few nights I do have one complaint. This mattress gets too warm for comfort. I am trying to adjust but after a couple of hours of sleep, I get uncomfortably warm. So far, all cover ends up in the floor after a couple hours of sleep. It's odd to go to sleep so comfortably and wake up so hot. It being winter now, I am concerned about how uncomfortable it will be in the spring/ summer. I went from a water bed to this and it took a while to get used to because it is very firm, but now I can't imagine being without it. It does take a few days for the smell of the foam to disappear but was never unbearable. For the money I don't think you could go wrong. It is quite heavy as delivered and vaccuum packed so make sure you have in the room you want it in before you cut the straps and take off the plastic wraping. Read the Warranty information carefully it can be a bit misleading from what I can see there really is not much of any warranty so if it looks like it may have been damaged in shipping send it back immediatly before you open it or it could be costly for you to ship it back. READ the warranty carefully ALONG with their return policy. I have had no problem with my mattress and would recommend it. |
